Agricultural waste betel nuts carbonization will be studied. In this plan, we will discuss the combustion effects of products from waste betel nuts in differential treatment of carbonization. The purpose of the plan is as follows: 1) To explore the most suitable carbonization conditions (temperature and time) for betel nuts. 2) To use Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA), Specific Surface Area Analyzer (BET), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) to observe the physical properties of different carbonization. 3) To compare the combustion behavior while betel nut biochar will be burned and to monitor the PM2.5 and VOCs emissions with micro-sensors.
